What is it about?
- The challenge of reintegrating terrorists and extremist offenders:
- Specific practices (methods, approaches of work, risk and needs assessment)
- Cooperation (Multi-agency approach)
- Needs – for clients – in regard to the actual work of reintegration (practices, organisational and legal framework)
We would like raise these important points with practitioners and experts working in the field of prison and probation, meaning prison staff as well as experts from the social work sector working in the overall field of radicalisation, but also other relevant persons working with extremists (police, intelligence services). (Travel and accommodation and subsistence cost will be covered by the project.)
The goal is to obtain feedback to the EUTEx concepts for designing a course and a reintegration tool, as well as learn about current practices in your field of work and needs for further training from the reintegration perspective.
