European Strategies Consulting

CoPPer aims to increase community participation as a vital element that can enhance the work of probation staff in supporting these often low-qualified adults to pursue education, training and employment opportunities once outside prison or while serving community sanctions.

Our objective in the project is to bring together European organisations from probation system, civil society, academia, and volunteering fields to create a transnational network focused on sharing knowledge and grassroot experience to co-explore ways of both increasing engagement and valuing the role volunteers and community play in the offender’s rehabilitation journey with the final goal of a crime-free life for the offenders.
